The new lenses of the ED103S focus the full spectrum of visible light to a critical point much more accurately than past ED product. The ED103S lenses are almost free of chromatic aberration in all colors and are critically sharp edge to edge. The astro-photographer will be especially pleased with the high contrast images through this telescope.The Sphinx SXD incorporates one piece hardened steel RA and DEC shafts with needle bearings throughout, the new Sphinx D can handle a load capacity up to 50 lbs. The Sphinx D comes complete with PEC and the incredibly accurate SX Polar Finder Scope.
